Build your personal training business at Basic-Fit

It all began for me in 2017 at Basic-Fit Luxembourg. At the time, I was just starting my career with a lot of ambition, but I never imagined how far we would go together. It’s not just a gym; it’s the place where I was able to build my vision.

Thanks to this mutual trust, I worked my way up to become Head Trainer. Today, I lead several clubs and take immense pride in supporting a great team of coaches every day.

Seeing my business flourish like this brings me immense satisfaction. This partnership has given me the structure I needed to turn my passion into a solid, people-centered business. I am deeply grateful for this journey and can’t wait to see what the future holds.

I started my personal training business at Basic-Fit in January 2016. I had a personal training center in Madrid with about 100 clients and began with three Basic-fit clubs. Ten years later, we now manage 28 clubs throughout Spain with more than 80 employees, mainly in Madrid and Valencia.

It was a great opportunity for me because I was able to scale my business and delegate the coaching work with the help of a team of trainers. I would repeat the experience over and over again because the product department helped me in every way possible to grow my business.

It’s a great way to take the natural next step as a personal trainer. It allows you to grow not only by focusing on self-employment and client-facing work but also on human resources and team building

My early days at what is now Basic-Fit date back to my time as a personal trainer at Fitness First La Dehesa, where I began to develop my career and build a solid foundation in both technical skills and client management.

I later moved on to Health City Orense, a facility that eventually became part of Basic-Fit, where I refined my work methodology and my vision for the industry.

Over time, I took on greater responsibilities, moving on to manage Basic-Fit Pacífico as a trainer and later the Villa de Vallecas club, always combining my work as a trainer with leadership and team management roles.

My goal has always been to prioritize the development, profitability, and consolidation of each facility before considering any expansion, which has allowed us to build a solid model—with a team of three trainers across two clubs—based on service quality and long-term sustainability.

I chose to join Basic-Fit because it’s a dynamic, inclusive, and ever-evolving environment. It’s a place that’s bustling with activity and, above all, offers real potential to help as many people as possible achieve their goals.

What made me want to work with Basic-Fit is precisely this opportunity to make a large-scale impact. We’re not in an exclusive gym, but in a place where anyone can start, progress, and transform themselves.

As head trainer, my role is to provide a framework, a vision, and high-quality support for both members and coaches. I enjoy developing talent, building a team, and creating a real coaching dynamic on the ground.

For me, Basic-Fit is a real-world playground for taking initiative, sharing knowledge, and helping people grow—both physically and mentally.

People often ask me how I manage to juggle being a flight attendant and a personal trainer—with irregular hours and little sleep—while still consistently training and coaching. But the honest answer is: I’m only able to keep this up thanks to fitness. The gym takes energy, but ultimately gives me more in return. It gives me strength, structure, health, and the physical and mental stamina to combine two jobs I love doing. Not because life becomes less demanding, but because I learn to stand stronger in it. For me, fitness isn’t just about changing your body or achieving performance goals. It’s about building a foundation. A body and mind that support you—during busy periods, on difficult days, when life demands a lot from you. And that’s exactly why I love coaching so much. Because I want people to experience that training isn’t something that drains your energy, but something that gives you more of yourself and of life in return. There’s more to life than the gym. But a strong body makes it possible to live that life more fully.
