Everyone can take part in a race. But can you keep your speed up? Can you finish the race at the same speed you started at?

When you train too intensively too often, your body starts to struggle. You can't peak all the time. At a certain point, your body will get tired and it is likely that the fun you derive from the activity will also wane. Before you know it, you won't feel like it any more and you won't be able to maintain the same level. Which is a shame!

What level can you maintain?

Make a plan that you can stick to, including long term. Come up with a training schedule that you enjoy, that you can manage and that keeps you motivated. And, of course, it can (and must) be challenging sometimes, but don't be too hard on yourself too often. If you can manage to achieve this, you will get great results! Small steps, big results!
