NEW: HIIT training with Teddy Riner

A few months ago, we announced the big news that we had signed a partnership with renowned French judoka, Teddy Riner. Since then, you've surely been curious to find out what this partnership means and how it will transform your fitness adventure with Basic-Fit. Now we are very happy to share with you the first HIIT Workout with Teddy Riner!

At the beginning of the year, Teddy Riner and Basic-Fit decided to team up and promote exercise and sports training. This is a topic close to our hearts because regular exercise ensures well-being and longevity, as Basic-Fit and Teddy Riner both know well. Plus, we know how much you admire Teddy Riner and his achievements. So we set up a series of video HIIT training sessions, of which this is the first. Below, you'll find a short video explaining the training and the exercises. As a Basic-Fit member, you can go to the GXR-On-Demand section of the Basic-Fit mobile app to access the full training session plus a timer, so that you can follow along with Teddy under the best possible conditions. 

As you know, this is a 15-minute HIIT, or High-Intensity Interval Training, session. It's the training of champions, because it lets you improve your endurance with cardio as well as your strength with its strengthening exercises. The structure is classic for HIIT, three blocks of two exercises. Each exercise is done for 1 minute. You will start with Block 1 – Exercise 1 for 1 minute, then do Exercise 2 for 1 minute. Repeat Block 1 a second time with greater intensity: Exercise 1 for 1 minute, then Exercise 2 for 1 minute. Once you're done with Block 1, you can move on to Block 2 and then Block 3. The goal is to get your heart rate up by doing a few exercises at a rapid pace.
