Strength zone
The different weight training equipment in the Strength zone will help you work on all your muscle groups. There is clear information on equipment with weights on cables about what muscles it will help to strengthen. You can set up all the equipment to your length and preferred weight. -
Cardio zone
We have a large range of cardio equipment. Perfect for improving your fitness and burning off calories. You will be training on equipment from Matrix. These machines are easy to use, but if you have any problems please ask a member of staff who will be happy to help! -
Free weight zone
In the Free Weight zone you can train with dumbbells, barbells, kettlebells and plates. Generally speaking, this will give you a more general weight workout than when you train with the machines. This is because you are moving freely and the muscles have to work together to lift the weight. -
Functional zone
This zone has a range of equipment you can use to exercise and get ready for what may come across outside the gym. Here, you can use equipment like a functional rack, slam balls, plyo boxes, bumper plates, olympic bars and kettlebells. -
Stretch zone
The Stretch zone is intended for stretching and exercising the stomach muscles with equipment like a stretch rack, gym balls, foam rollers and mats. In this zone you are mainly training for core strength and balance/flexibility. -
Virtual cycling
In the Virtual Cycling zone you can really put your fitness to the test with our Indoor Cycling classes that you follow on a big screen. Look at the group class timetable to see set times for classes, or you can start a session yourself at any time of the day. Take your earphones with you, plug them in to one of the bikes and let those leg muscles burn!
Video Workouts
Get moving with some of the biggest names in sports through our Video Workouts! Join others in the group class studio, or stream workouts at home from the Basic-Fit! With over 100 classes you’ll never run out of options. You can enjoy workouts whenever and wherever you like.
