1. Nature of free access
This fitness club operates on a free access basis, which means that during certain time slots, no staff are present.
As a result, no immediate assistance can be provided in the event of an accident, illness, injury, or improper use of equipment.
2. Risks related to free access practice
Practicing sports activities in free access involves risks, including but not limited to: risk of injury, risk of illness or health incident, risks related to improper use of equipment, and absence of immediate intervention in case of emergency.
Free access practice implies full autonomy, increased vigilance, and enhanced individual responsibility.
It is strongly recommended not to train alone during free access periods.
3. User commitments
Each user undertakes to:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Respect the maximum number of 19 persons simultaneously in the free access area;
- Use the equipment in accordance with the instructions displayed and available in the Basic-Fit mobile application;
- Adapt their training to their physical abilities and health condition;
- Immediately stop the activity in case of pain, discomfort, or any unusual or abnormal sensation;
- Strictly comply with all rules applicable to free access.
The user acknowledges having been clearly informed of the absence of staff during certain time slots, the risks associated with autonomous practice, and the safety recommendations, in particular the recommendation not to train alone.
4. Self-assessment questionnaire
You are invited to respond to the following statements:
☐ Your doctor has restricted your sports practice to certain activities
☐ You have already experienced unusual or excessive shortness of breath during exertion, even mild
☐ You experience even minor chest pain, palpitations, or an irregular heart rhythm during physical activity
☐ You suffer from bone, joint, or muscular problems (back issues, fractures, compression injuries, etc.) that may worsen with physical activity
☐ A member of your family has died suddenly from a cardiac or unexplained cause
☐ Considering your medical history and current health condition, you believe that medical advice is necessary before starting or resuming physical activity
☐ You have experienced fainting or loss of consciousness, even without exertion
☐ You are pregnant
☐ You use performance-enhancing substances (“doping”) or are undergoing medical treatment
If you identify with at least one of the above statements, we strongly recommend that you consult a doctor before engaging in any physical activity in free access.
